# Agentless (Passkey) FAQs

> Frequently asked Questions about TruU's Agentless, or Passkey, capabilities.

### Do you have to use the same Passkey for authentication across the entire environment?

**A:** No, but you must use the same platform where the Passkey was created. For example:

* If you created your Passkey in Chrome browser on Windows, you must use the same browser/computer combination for authentication
* Passkeys are tied to the specific device and platform where they were generated

### Can you create multiple different Passkeys?

**A:** Yes, you can create multiple Passkeys across different devices and platforms:

* Different web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge)
* Mobile devices (iPhone, Android)
* Hardware security keys (YubiKey, etc.)
* All created Passkeys can be used for authentication to your organization's resources

### How do I keep track of my Passkeys?

**A:** You can manage Passkeys through two methods:

**TruU User Portal:**

* Navigate to the User Portal
* Access Passkey management section to view, create, or delete Passkeys

**Platform-Specific Management:**

* iPhone/iPad: Settings → Passwords → Passkeys
* Chrome Browser: Settings → Google Password Manager → Passkeys
* Hardware Keys: Use the manufacturer's management software

### Can you delete Passkeys that have been created?

**A:** Yes, Passkey management options include:

* Users can delete their own Passkeys via the TruU User Portal
* Administrators can revoke Passkeys, preventing authentication even if the Passkey remains stored on the device
* Platform-specific deletion through device settings

### Are Passkeys synced across all devices?

**A:** Passkeys can synchronize across devices when enabled:

* Apple Devices: Passkeys sync automatically via iCloud across iPhone, iPad, and Mac
* Google Chrome: Passkeys sync across devices signed into the same Google account
* Cross-Platform: Synchronization typically works within the same ecosystem (Apple-to-Apple, Google-to-Google)
