# Android 25.6.0 Release Notes

> We are pleased to announce the release of the 25.6.0 version of the TruU Android Mobile App. Please review this document for details about the release, including known issues.

Date: July 31, 2025

## Highlights

* Support for Biometric Permission Management
* Improved Integration with SoloInsight
* Increased PIN Hammering lockout threshold
* Bug Fixes

## Enhancements

### Support for Biometric Permission Management

* In this release, we now offer support for biometric permission management. When this feature is enabled in the Admin Console, users will need to approve a biometric use policy before enrolling - or continuing to use - their biometrics.

### Improved Integration with SoloInsight

* We have improved our integration with Soloinsight to further supplement physical access, supporting NFC through the TruU Mobile app itself. This improvement now enables physical access capabilities when the app is installed in a user's "Work Profile".
  * Additionally, we now **only** show the "Add to Wallet" button for users who are enabled for physical access when the app is installed in the Personal profile.

### Increased PIN Hammering Lockout Threshold

* We have increased the PIN Hammering lockout threshold from 5 to 8 bad attempts.

## Bug Fixes

* We have fixed an issue where a User's HID badge did not load in one's personal profile, even with a pull to refresh or app restart. Now, the UI appears as it should.
* We have fixed an issue where, upon uploading of a new user policy, multiple renewal notifications would appear on the "Notification" screen.
* We have fixed an issue with the Authentication request still is shown after approval/rejection. Now, it dismisses after an action takes place.
* We have fixed an issue where the "Add to Wallet" button appears even if the user is not permitted to do so, as an error screen would appear if an action is attempted to take place. By utilizing SoloInsight SDK's **isDigitialBadgeAllowed** flag, we can determine if the user is eligible for the pass and then, if applicable, will show the "Add to Wallet" button
