# WA 24.3.1 Release Notes

> We are pleased to announce the release of the TruU Windows Authenticator version 24.3.1. Please review this document in its entirety for details about the release, including known issues.

## Highlights

* This is a patch release with bug fixes only.

## Bug Fixes

* We have resolved a rare security issue in Windows Authenticator configured for FIDO2 where the security context for FIDO2 might not have been destroyed immediately after a user locked their device. In some uncommon scenarios, this would have allowed a user to lock their computer and then log in immediately afterward without providing the necessary user authentication.
