# WA 24.4.2 Release Notes

> We are pleased to announce the release of the TruU Windows Authenticator version 24.4.2. Please review this document in its entirety for details about the release, including known issues.

* This is a patch release with bug fixes only.

## Bug Fixes

* Faster loading of biometric icons on the TruU Login UI for desktop login.
* Faster loading of TruU Login UI for desktop login.
* Added timeout for biometric readers to prevent battery drain and unstable behavior for long-running biometric processes.
