# PKI Configuration & Setup Overview

TruU offers the following PKI configuration options:

1. **Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)** Integration with your on-premises Microsoft PKI infrastructure for certificate issuance and trust.
2. **TruU Cloud Trust** TruU-managed cloud-based certificate trust model, reducing dependency on on-premises CA infrastructure.
3. **Third-Party Certificate Authority (e.g., Venafi)** Integration with supported external certificate management platforms for environments leveraging centralized enterprise PKI solutions.

The appropriate option depends on your organization’s certificate authority model, security policies, and operational requirements. Please see these admin setup guides as to how to move forward with your setup.
