MA 24.3 Release Notes

Highlights

When enrolling a user through ADE or adding a user from the login screen, we now offer an ability to select a Wi-Fi network. Users can click the ‘Wi-Fi Settings’ button on the login screen to join a Wi-Fi network.

In this release we have also added a feature to enable a local Admin to login to a hidden Admin account with a username and password.

We have also improved our reporting to include sending login events (when the user logs into the macOS using TruU) to the Admin Console.

We have updated the enrollment prompt notification to use a standard system notification rather than fully opening the enrollment wizard when informing users that they can enroll.

The new agent has been localized for the following languages:
- Chinese (Simplified)
- French
- German
- Italian
- Japanese
- Portuguese
- Russian
- Spanish
- Swedish
- Turkish
- Korean
The Agent will present the language based on the system settings of the computer. If the computer is using a language that is not supported, the Agent will continue to present in English.
- NOTE: the enrollment UI still appears in English currently. Localization support for that will come in the future through a Platform update.

We have iImproved the UI for enrollment when enrolling from login screen and/or through ADE when using a workflow that allows for sending a magic link to multiple delivery addresses (e.g. mobile phone, work and personal email).
We have fixed an issue where uninstalling the Mac Authenticator would fail to complete.
We have fixed an issue where user would be prompted to provide a password for the “login” keychain while on the lock screen.
We have fixed an issue where the Mac Authenticator would crash during unenrollment when unenrolling multiple accounts.
We have fixed an issue where users would be asked install developer tools when installing the Mac Authenticator.
We have fixed an issue where PreStage enrollment would fail when using ADE on a slow / poor network.

Ticket Number	Component	Summary
MA-210	PIN Reset	After changing PIN, the screen may flicker between a message to Enter PIN / Enter Password for a few seconds.
MA-234	Installation	When installing TruU through ADE, some Setup Assistant Screens (Touch ID) may be skipped.
MA-284	Misc.	OS upgrade may lead to a “SmartCard initialization error”. Rebooting the computer will resolve this issue if it occurs.
MA-369	Misc.	When using Jamf to setup the Mac and TruU through ADE, if the TruU software has not been fully installed before Jamf finishes the setup prior to TruU, the use will be presented with a username and password screen instead of our enrollment wizard. If this happens, the device must be reset for the user to proceed with the TruU enrollment.
