Account Lockout Prevention
- Previously, users and other applications were able to change individual PINs by going around the TruU software. That could lead to users being locked out without intentionally changing their PIN. Now, after a user has successfully enrolled their account, both the user and other software will be prevented from changing their PIN using mechanisms other than TruU (terminal commands or system settings).
Bug Fixes
- We have fixed an issue where the Mac Authenticator was too aggressive in obtaining a Kerberos ticket (hundreds of times a minute). This led to performance issues on the device, as well as issues with the user’s account in the directory. Now, the Mac software will attempt to obtain the Kerberos ticket once every ten seconds.
- We have fixed an issue where the Mac Authenticator would crash related to standard periodic operations.
- We have fixed an issue where the Mac Authenticator would crash when the user would try to login using the web SSO.
- We have fixed an issue where, as a part of the ADE enrollment flow, the user would get stuck and would have to restart their system to complete the login process.
