Enhancements

Improved Uninstall Process

  • In the past, the uninstallation process was not straightforward; furthermore, it would frequently result in the TruU product not being removed from the system. Now, the uninstall process always will result in the TruU product being removed from the system.
NOTE: Only the user that is logged in upon uninstallation will have TruU items removed from their keychain. All other users must manually remove the TruU keychain items.

Improved Web SSO Performance

  • When systems were under load, users could see that their attempts to access Web SSO would fail. In turn, we have improved the performance of the feature so a system under load would experience far fewer Web SSO failures.

Configuration for use of Touch ID

  • The menu item that allowed users to enable/disable Touch ID for use with TruU has been hidden by default. It can be enabled using the touchIdConsentForSso configuration key. A value of true will show the option in the TruU menu. Enabling/disabling Touch ID for TruU only affects authenticating with web SSO. Touch ID for unlocking the system, or for system auth prompts are managed by macOS.

Bug Fixes

  • We have fixed an issue where users were seeing improperly formatted elements of the change PIN UI. Users should see corrected interface with this change.
  • We have fixed an issue where the Mac Authenticator would become unresponsive upon updating its versioning. This should no longer occur.
