Highlights

  • This is a patch release with bug fixes only.

Bug Fixes

  • We have fixed an issue that prevented some users from being able to enroll face biometrics with TruU.
  • We have fixed an intermittent issue that occasionally caused TruU’s biometric service to crash.
  • We have locked down the communication channel used for Single Sign-On to ensure that agent only communicates with its own tenant.
  • We have improved the user experience and usability of face biometrics by providing feedback to user (e.g. move back, look to the right, etc.) while using face to authenticate.
  • We have fixed an issue that prevented user from being able to open the account profile, or other items in system tray when an external camera is plugged in.
  • We have improved the user experience when user tries to unlock computer with face recognition when face is not recognized.
  • We have fixed an issue that could lead to the agent getting “hung” at the login screen with an indefinite spinner.
  • We have fixed an issue where user may see a “Please wait” message that does not go away after waking a computer from sleep.
  • We have removed the toast message instructing user to lock and unlock computer to continue using TruU after upgrade. This prompt can be reenabled through a configuration option in the config file and is only recommended for customers who are using TruU to authenticate to thick apps with a smart card or are using TruU for certificate based authentication for SSO. If authenticating with TruU for these scenarios, Windows will present a notification telling users that it needs their current credentials. Taking action on the TruU notification will prevent the Windows notifications for the same.
  • We have fixed an issue where a fingerprint reader may be unresponsive for ~15 seconds to the user placing the finger on the reader.
  • We have fixed an issue where on some computers, when using a fingerprint reader to unlock the PC, if the user uses the wrong finger first, the correct finger may not work. If this happens, the user can use their PIN or restart TruU to use the correct finger.
  • We have fixed an issue where face biometrics could not be enrolled if a camera being used reports a different value for the vendor id and product id.
