System Requirements

Operating System: Windows 10 version 1809 or higher [NOTE: version 21H1 or higher is required for multi-camera support] Space: ~200MB of available disk space TPM: TPM 2.0, or higher Biometrics: For biometric authentication, the TruU Authenticator requires Windows Hello-compatible biometric devices Note: The TruU Windows Authenticator interacts with the Windows Operating System using the Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime (which includes the .NET Runtime) version 6.0.10 x64. TruU includes this runtime in the TruU bundle to ensure successful interactions with the OS with no conflicts in runtime versions Get the TruU Windows Authenticator from the Downloads page in your Admin Console

Manual Installation

  1. Login to your TruU Admin Console
  1. Top right corner, Click on the user icon and select Downloads
  1. Accept EULA terms to download software
  1. Click on the version of theWindows Authenticator that you would like to download and click Download Note: Ensure the “TruUInstallerBundle-xx.x.x.x.exe” and “application.config” files are located in the same directory on the workstation before launching the installer
  1. Launch the installer, then click Next to proceed with the installation
  1. Ensure the installer verification screen shows all green check marks. Then click Next. Then click Install
NOTE: If you see a red X on “Enrollment”, ensure that the config file is present in the directory
  1. Click Finish when the installation is complete, and then click Close to exit the installer
