Search sits on the Home entry point and works together with the app’s primary navigation. You can start from the global prompt and still move to dedicated areas for personas, protection workflows, or settings.
The Home / Search page is both where you ask cross-cutting questions and where you see the rest of the product structure in the sidebar. Use search for event-wide questions; use sidebar destinations when you need a specific module’s tools and views.
Configuration and account or workspace settings.Exact labels and sub-pages may vary by deployment; the sidebar order reflects how the app groups major capabilities.
Click a sidebar item to leave Search and open that section’s default view. Return to Home when you want the global natural-language search again. You do not need to finish a search session before switching sections.
Ask in the Home search field when your goal is to locate events or identity context by description rather than by clicking through module-by-module. For example, search by user identifier, application name, time window, or behavior described in plain language. After results surface, use the relevant sidebar area (for example Persona or Protect) for deeper, structured work on a case or identity. For how the search field, bookmark, and Send control work together, see Global Search.
