Where can I find the TruU Application on my iPhone?
  • The TruU app will be available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store Portal to download. Navigate to the App store on your phone, search for the TruU Fluid Identity Application in the search bar. Select the TruU App and tap Install to download on your mobile device
What are the device requirements to enroll with TruU?
  • iOS 16 or greater
Can I use TruU on multiple iPhone devices?
  • Yes, you can enroll and use your account on multiple devices unless your admin sets a limit
Can I use the same PIN on my Computer and Mobile device?
  • Yes, you can use the same PIN on both devices. PIN on each device is local only significant to that device
Can I use different PIN on my Computer and Mobile device?
  • Yes, PIN can be different or same on your PC and Mobile device. PIN on each device is local only significant to that device
If I enable access to location, does the TruU mobile device track or share my location?
  • The TruU app request’s location access solely to facilitate physical building access capability. If your company does not use the building access functionality; thus, users have the option to disable location and Bluetooth access while still being able to use TruU for authentication purposes
Will uninstalling TruU App from my phone impact TruU on my computer?
  • No, TruU is device-specific. Uninstalling the mobile app will not impact your TruU enrollment on computers.
Can I access and download the mobile app in restricted locations/offline?
  • Yes, we are able to package our mobile application for you to be able to deploy via MDM or offline. While it is not available for download in public stores in restricted areas (mainland China, for example), there is a simple workaround to have full access to our resources.
What authentication methods are available on mobile?
  • Biometric (Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometrics)
  • PIN authentication
Is my data secure on the mobile app? Yes, TruU mobile app:
  • Stores all sensitive data locally on your device
  • Uses device hardware security features
  • Doesn’t share personal data or biometric information
  • Follows industry security standards
